Bill Miles, Directorbill%20miles

Bill began Miles Electronics as a one man band over 33 years ago. He began his training with Dept of Civil Aviation before starting his own company in 1975. Bill has been involved with the supply and setup of radio and satellite systems for the American TV show ‘Survivor’.

Debbie has been at Miles Electronics since the year 2000 as  our Office Manager. She has an extensive knowledge of the industry, the products we stock and the services we provide. Debbie is responsible for making the office run smoothly, the rental and sales of portable radios and satellite phones and the general sale of products we stock. Debbie is also responsible for the accounts side of the company. Debbie has been recognised for outstanding customer service when she was awarded the 2014 ARCIA Industry Excellence Award for Customer Service.

 Richard Zolnowski, Office AdministratorRichard

Richard began at Miles Electronics in 2013 after working in a range of industries. Richard has a background in IT and has previously worked for Emergency Services. Richard has a wide  knowledge of telecommunication equipment and product knowledge of our suppliers. Richard assists Debbie with the day to day running of the workshop and the office as well as providing quotes, purchasing and sales of our stock.

Michael McColmMichael

Michael spent 8 years with the Australian Air Force working on F1-11’s and other military air support vehicles. He joined Miles Electronics in 1995 and is one of our senior technicians. He is responsible for the day to day operations of our Cairns workshop.

Seth YellandSeth

Seth started with Miles Electronics in 2004 as a mature apprentice after moving to Cairns from South Queensland. Seth is one of our experienced technicians with skills ranging across the many differing systems we encounter.

Raven AshtonRaven

After moving from the USA, Raven joined the team at Miles Electronics in 2015 and began her apprenticeship in Radio Communications via TAFE. Raven is now a qualified tradesperson and is enjoying the technical challenges she comes across in the workshop.
